Psalms 16:11 There is a great story, that I love to share, about a very wealthy man who included in his will that he wanted to be buried in his Cadillac. So, the executors of his state of followed his directions precisely. They had an enormous hole dug. The dead man was sitting there behind the wheel of the Cadillac. They wheeled the Cadillac to the grave and the Cadillac was lowered into the ground. Two gravediggers were standing there and one turned to the other one and said, "My, some people really know HOW TO LIVE!" True Christianity is the path of joyous life. Jesus Christ said, "I came that you might have life and have it joyously." Have you ever felt as if something was missing from your life, but you couldn’t quite determine what it was? Maybe after reaching a long-awaited goal, you felt disappointed but you didn’t know why. Your likes and dislikes, your preferences and goals can change. However, when you have an urgent feeling that something in life is missing, what can you do? Instead of looking to other people, or to your own accomplishments, you turn to God, the very source of your life. With an awareness of God, you find a greater meaning in life and greater fulfillment in carrying out your part in the overall plan for all creation. You will appreciate the magnificence of all life and infuse your life with joyous expectation. There can be nothing missing, because, with God, you experience the fullness of the joy of life. You have a cell phone that hopefully works properly, as long as you remember to plug it in and charge it. Without its charge from its source of power, it is worthless. You, too, have to remember to plug in—through prayer to your source of power and emotional outlook. You will find that you are not only infilled with energy but also joy, and love for your life. POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER: I now plug in, I connect to God and God connects with me. I recharge in the joyous presence of full life in God. I renew myself, from center to circumference. The life of God, in me, misses nothing. In God I am whole and complete again. In God I live the joyous life.
