Psalms 118:24 For those of you that wish to follow this Positive Daily Inspiration you choose to make this day a 24-hour period where you do not say or do anything negative. Every word that you speak will be positive. Every thought that you think will be positive. Every word that you speak to another will be positive and everything that you say about yourself will be positive. Every thought that you think about another will be positive and every thought that you think about yourself will be positive. You will be positive no matter what. You will see and think the best, instead of focusing on the negative. Some will choose to make this a weekly habit of ending the week in an uplifting way. I have a friend in Texas, who is an administrative manager of a large company. She has four top administrators report to her. She reports that they now have a weekly "Positive Day" in which they can only address things in the positive. She said she only suggested the first day and it was such a success with so much accomplished that they suggested they make it a weekly event. They now even have an inspiration period at the start of their weekly administration meetings. What an uplifting thing to do in the corporate environment. I have another friend that has what she calls "Blue Sky Days". On blue sky days she goes outside, lies in the grass of the park, and looks up at the blue sky thinking about God. She says, "It’s impossible to be negative on blue sky day. As I write this Positive Daily Inspiration, I am sitting in the most beautiful garden. God's handiwork is everywhere. Who could doubt the existence of God with the evidence so clear. I'm surrounded by tropical plants and flowering shrubbery. Flowers of every color paint a powerful portrait for my eyes to behold. God is here. I am having a "Positive Day." As I sit here, I am reminded that it wasn't that long ago when everything appeared dead in this garden but now it has been resurrected into new exciting life. I have decided on my "Positive Day" I am going to make the choice to take more time to enjoy the beauty around me and to sense God in the evidence of the Divine existence. How good I feel when I take time to pray, meditate, reflect and sense God. I can look for God in the intricate beauty that makes up a single flower and be overwhelmed with a sense of the presence of the presence. We should spend more of our time in wonder and awe of God's creative work. We sometimes rush on, busy on our way somewhere else. But today is "Positive Day." God is waiting on us, patiently, lovingly for us to rediscover what is really important in life. I have been in ministry more than 40 years and I haven't even tapped the surface to what there is to discover in God. Every day God should be fresh, dynamic and new. There is always something new to discover about God and our relationship with each other. On "Positive Day" we should especially strive to live in conscious awareness of the presence of God and be in awe. I believe that Jesus had "Positive Days" and it was on those days that he discovered His greatness working with His father. On my "Positive Day" I choose to make a positive difference in at least one person's life through a kind word, a compliment or a smile. Perhaps you would like to follow this in your actions to make your world a better place. If all chose at one time to have a "Positive Day" we would find that we have created heaven on earth. POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER: Dear God, today I choose to be positive. I choose to see the good. I choose to believe the best. I choose to project positivity to everyone around me. I choose to enjoy my day. I choose to increase my enjoyment hour upon hour. With Your help, dear God, nothing will delay or stop this spiritual experience.
