Psalm 46:1 In all circumstances, in all the stages of your life, you can be comforted and reassured by the tender, loving presence of God. God's love for you is unfailing and eternal; nothing can separate you from the love of God. When you feel hurt or alone, God's love soothes and comforts you. God's love restores in you a sense of self-worth and understanding that you are always loved. If you feel afraid or uncertain, God's love strengthens you, giving you the courage to meet challenges triumphantly and live life victoriously. When you seem to experience a lack of health, prosperity, joy or peace in life, God's love assures you that the good you desire, seeks you, even as you seek and expect it. God’s love and goodwill, blesses you. You are precious to God. You are one of God's blood children, and heir to a blessing of eternal love. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14.27 If you ever feel rushed or hurried because of all that seems to demand your time and attention, you can use Jesus' words "Peace! Be still!" to help you focus on order and serenity. Jesus spoke these words with authority to calm the sea (Mark 4:39), and you can speak them with authority to calm any inner turmoil. God brings you comfort and peace. Quietly proclaiming, "Peace! Be still!" when we feel pressured, reminds us that God is ever with us, ready to assist us with the strength, wisdom, comfort and peace, we need. Giving our attention to God's comfort and peace helps us to restore order and harmony in our lives. We begin an active partnership with God in shaping our lives rather than simply reacting to the events in life. We turn our attention within and experience peace by proclaiming, "Peace! Be still!" By affirming peace, we are led to manifest peace and comfort in every circumstance of life. POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER: Dear God, I pray today “Peace Be Still.” God, help me to still any inner turmoil in my mind and body. I ask today that You will give me spiritual strength and wisdom to face every event with inner peace and comfort. Help me to recall moment-to-moment that I am not alone and that you are with me as my help in every need. I am comforted in the thought today, God, that nothing can ever separate us. I know that with You I will meet every challenge triumphantly and live my life victoriously. I am ever comforted by Your sweet love.
