Proverb 15:1 If you ever known personalities in your life, that had a short fuse and anything said to them would set them off. We avoid most people like that if we can. When they are an employer, they may go through countless employees and customers. When they are an employee, they don't last long on the job. When they are in a relationship, it is short in duration at best. I have known many people like this and some of them sincerely ask God for a spiritual change. Realizing the problem was in them and how they were responding to daily life. Daily life will always have its bumps, and dips, and challenges. It is how we respond to daily life that makes the difference between success and failure. A powerful prayer is as follows: “My responses are Christ-directed.” There are times when quick action, a decisive stand, and right words are in order. However, if you find yourself responding unpleasantly constantly to certain situations or persons, search her own heart to see what in you is causing such a reaction. Pray to be free from whatever it is. A soft answer is the answer of strength; weakness causes the shouting and torrential outpouring of anger. In regular times of prayer, you can remain Christ-guided in all your reactions to the situations that arise daily in your life. You can be sure if you are prayed up your responses will be appropriate at all times, and places. There are times when you need to respond with quietness, love, and understanding. Through prayer, you feel your oneness with God's loving power and you let that power work through you. The power of love is the greatest power and strongest force known to humans. God’s power can change any situation or person you're dealing with. The change is often permanent and it has life-changing continuing effects for all within range. Your willingness and God's power work together to keep all your reactions Christ-guided. You are able to walk with confidence and talk with confidence. You will have a new joy in self-esteem for you sense a new power working within you and through you. You will be poised and centered in Christ through your regular times of prayer enabling you to respond in a positive way at exactly the right time. Your mind is not alone you are one with the mind of God. Tapping a reservoir of Divine intelligence, you gain a new understanding of the situation and the person at hand. You see the whole picture and because of this you are empowered to respond in the higher way. This will assure you of success in profound and lasting ways when you exercise positive words it will stir up positive responses towards you! POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." Matthew 5:9 Dear God, I pray that there is peace in my world. I pray that I am at peace with all people. Empower me to bless instead of criticizing, or resenting. I pray that all my human relations, from this moment on, are filled with peace in my mind and heart. My responses are Christ directed. I pray that I act as a center of light and love and understanding by letting peace begin with me. I pray that my actions have a marvelous reward for all.
