Isaiah 30:15 We live in a noisy world. The world in which we live is filled with sounds that we have learned to accept as normal. A moment of God-centered silence can be a much-needed blessing. Many of us are immersed in noise pollution, and this robs us of true power. Today, seek the power that is found in the silence. Let us consciously tune out external sounds and, in confidence and faith, tune into the creative silence of God during our prayers and meditation. In times of quiet meditation, you experience vitalizing communication with God's life-giving presence. Positive Christianity invites you to experience united quiet meditation every Tuesday night. But quiet meditation can be sought at ANY time that you need it. Many people live noise filled energy depleted lives. On days when I really need to feel God's presence, I time tithe. 10% of my awake time back to God. I give six minutes out of every hour back to God. I often sit in the silence, and listen for the still small voice of God. This can renew you at depth and can give you a true spiritual experience, even if it is only for six minutes. You soon live in full energy. Joyfully take time and welcome the opportunity for moments of the inspiring God-centered silence. In this silence, you relax all tension, calm all thoughts, and quiet all distractions. In this God-centered silence, you are open to God's perfect Divine order and peace. Every week, we hear from people who say that, God's creative silence imparts to them a new sense of direction, a new source of strength, and a new level of quiet trust and faith. "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Corinthians 3:17 It is in the silence that all power is found. All power originates from the inner silence before there was outer noise. The silence will give you new energy to move forward in your life. The worst curse that could ever come to a human being would be to imprison that person, locking them into what they were in the past. This cursed person would never be allowed to change, grow or become a better person. God does not lock you into your past. God encourages you to move forward and grow, into all that you can be as a child of God. Freedom from bondage is one of the Divine treasures that we are granted as children of God. This freedom is one of the most precious gifts that you possess. But, at times, you may not feel free. Feelings of worry, hurt, resentment, or guilt may be enslaving you, holding back your God-given abundant life. This is mind noise, of human mind talking to your human mind. Over and over we read in the Bible of the effects of God's free power in the lives of those who turned to God in faith and trust. Your victory over any thought, or feeling inside of you, or any situation in your outer life that has made you feel bound and limited, comes through trusting in God. Trusting in the freeing, delivering power of God is what Jesus says to do. You have a great and powerful presence with you. By turning to God in the silence of prayer, you can mightily overcome all shadowy noisy fears. Through the invincible power of God, you receive new freedom. God will uplift you and give you freedom from past regret. God will infill you and give you freedom from all past fears held over in your past thinking to this moment. God will give you new confidence and take away your former doubts. Through Christ's living Spirit, you are set free, to bask in quiet confidence. POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER: Dear God, I pray that You will give me new freedom. I ask that You help me release myself from bad habits of the past. Free me from my negative addictions. Free me from my past fears and doubts. I realize that in the past, God, I have been addicted to noise. I have been addicted to fear and doubt-thinking. Give me freedom to explore my potential. Give me freedom to fully develop my God-given gifts. Help me God to no longer be locked into my limited past. I ask You to help me quiet my mind. Free me to develop my thinking and feelings so that I may fully express what Your purpose is for my life.
