If you have powers and understand mysteries and all knowledge, and have faith as to remove mountains, but have not love, you are nothing. This moment in time, as you accept God's love, you are patient and kind. You are not jealous or boastful. You are not arrogant or rude. You no longer insist on your own way. You are not irritable. You are no longer resentful. You do not rejoice in wrong, but you rejoice in the right. You bear all things, you believe all things, you hope all things, and this love endures in you, around you, and coming to you. "And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalms 23:6 I ask you now to go into the "spiritual closet" inside of you, into the special place where you enter into the stillness of prayer and meditation. Close the door shutting out all the disturbances. You are going in secret place of most high. I invite you to enter into an attitude of surrender. Give yourself up to a definite feeling of letting go of your old way of life. Release all feelings of unhappiness, hatred, unfairness, all fears concerning your welfare, and all doubts about God's ability and intention to restore you. You are surrendering to a definite feeling of willingness for God to enter your heart and mind, placing you in the center God's love, and to rule over your life from this point on. In the silence of prayer. . . You are saying, in effect, these words: I believe in God. I believe in God who created me and gave me free-will. I believe that God is all good and that God has the power to heal, prosper, comfort, and guide me in this world and in all worlds to come. I now surrender my own will and my way of life to this wonderful guidance of God—pure good—and I do so in faith and happiness. You are immersed in the good love of God. Rest in this God good, in the silence of prayer . . . Dear God, with everything inside of me I know that You are consciously hearing and feeling my desires. I know that Your love has been contacted, and that You offer new love in my life. I know that I am being healed of any brittle bitterness inside of me that has come from a lack of love. Dear God, Your love that You are sending through me now, will wipe out the results of all past mistakes, and in the place of bitterness will be only forgiveness. Your love will wipe away my tears and heal me of all sense of guilt and shame. I consciously accept this now. In the silence of prayer. . . Dear God, I receive the spirit of love. God-given love is now established in me, and there is no doubt or argument about it in me. It is so, and I shall now be helped by the power of love. I will work with the power of love, and trust in the power of love. All my desires, actions, and beliefs are now under God’s guidance of all good. I am blessed, and I am a blessing. Minute-by-minute I strive to bring every thought and belief under the law of God’s love. I do so, and I look with new eyes. I see everything around me with eyes of love. I speak with words of love. I listen with ears of love. I think only with love. These are now put to work in my life. I believe in the power of God to change my life from what it is to all I desire it should be. I believe that love can heal, bring me peace of mind, and prosper me. I ask it to do so for me now. I am eager and willing to do my part. I thank You, dear God, for the love, joy, and privilege of working with You in love. In Jesus Christ's name we pray . . . Amen.
