Again, I say, rejoice!" Philippians 4:4 I have rejoice days. Rejoice days are FULL days spent rejoicing about EVERYTHING. We have to make the choice to rejoice, especially when human mind tells us there is nothing but doom and gloom.. All of us are seeking happiness, and comfort, and contentment. I believe the way to find all of those things is to rejoice – after all, our life is a gift from God. Life is a blessing to be savored and celebrated. Just ask a dying person. Many have said that they wished that they had not wasted so many days in petty worry about things that never came to pass. They have said over and over again, "If I had it to do all over again, I would rejoice more." The best day to begin a celebration of rejoicing IS THIS ONE! Don't put off rejoicing until you think you have a reason to rejoice. The spiritual life is a life beyond moods, it is a life in which we choose joy and do not allow us to become victims of low feelings or depression. I first learned to do this, when I was practicing daily gratitude to God. I would find that I became so overwhelmed with my blessings that I started to rejoice. I was filled with joy. I soon learned the joy of multiplies upon joy. I learned the joy creates more joy. Just as the opposite is true - Doom and gloom creates more doom and gloom. What does life have in store for us? There is cornucopia of good ahead of us beyond our imagination. There is a world of possibilities if we have faith enough to embrace those possibilities. Life as we knew it IS NOT OVER, soon we will each have a brand-new beginning! If we really believe in God's promises of love, peace and joy we will have to trust in God enough to accept them and REJOICE NOW. Jesus Christ had faith enough to give thanks in advance. We must follow Him, to have faith enough to rejoice in advance. This is a day on our journey, and while we may not have reached a desired destination, let us remember to celebrate the life that God has given us—so that we do not waste this precious time. God has blessed us beyond measure in the past, and will again in our future. We honor God by rejoicing and magnifying our own happiness and joy in the journey. POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER: Dear God, I come to You in total expectation of the best. I believe in miracles because I believe in You. I cooperate with You by holding in my human mind the very best outcome. I do not come to You in desperation, but in gratitude and excitement of the result given to me ahead of any need. I live my days in prayer and my days bless me. I go to You first each day to prepare my human mind for the blessed life. I live my moments, day by day, in positive expectation and overflowing gratitude as I witness and take part in the miraculous results. I believe that spiritual power is the most important activity that I can take part in. I give myself to it, and it gives its power to me.
