I pray that when I look into the mirror of life that dimness disappears, the riddle vanishes, and God shows me the way to see face to face. I pray that I know myself fully as God continues to know me fully. I live my life in faith. I live my life in hope. I live my life expressing love. I pray that when the cataracts are removed from my vision I like what I see in the mirror. May I see and feel hope In Jesus Christ's name I so affirm this is true about me and my life today. Amen. PRAYER / MEDITATION_______________________ We join our prayers with ministries around the world that are praying these words. The Christ within you is your hope of glory. May the Christ infill our hearts and minds right now. May the Christ infill our immune systems right now with strength and lasting health. In quiet communion with God, peace and calm sweep over you. You are hushed in the awareness of your available help from God. In the silence of prayer. . . You relax and let go. In your mind's eye, you see a peaceful place—perhaps a green meadow with a quiet stream. Here you are safe; here you feel the presence of God within and around you. You let go of the thoughts of the day, for this is the time to be alone with God. As you release your concerns, you set them adrift in the quiet stream that carries away all cares. You are utterly relaxed as you affirm these words silently within: God fills my world with peace. With a peaceful heart, we turn our thoughts to guidance. As the light of the sun dispels the darkness of the night, the light of Christ shines within our minds and hearts and dispels any doubt. It shines brightly to guide us on the path of life. The road we choose, no matter how narrow or winding it may seem, is illumined by the light of Christ. We take this comforting thought and let it settle deep within. The Christ presence is here with us and within us now as light. Whatever decisions we need to make, we make with ease and confidence, for we are filled with the light of Christ. We recognize the Christ light within ourselves and within each person in our hearts as we pray our prayer for guidance: God is my counsel, directing me in all that I do. Accept this, in the silence of prayer . . . "You shall be like a watered garden." The stream in our quiet place is a healing stream. As we step into its current, it cleanses and purifies us; its revitalizing energy makes us strong and new. The healing stream of life is flowing around you and coursing through you. This Divine life is the rhythm of your body, the intelligence of each cell. It moves through you with every beat of your heart. You are rejuvenated, atom-by-atom, cell-by-cell. You are like a watered garden—refreshed . . . renewed. You are strong and whole as we pray our prayer for healing: God heals my body and soothes my mind. In the silence of prayer. . . "I will extend prosperity to her like a river." We sit in our quiet place among the green grass that grows by the stream. The stream nourishes the soil and provides all that the lush grass needs. Like this stream, God is a river of prosperity that brings only good to you, first as Divine ideas and then as opportunities to use them. Your mind is still; your heart is open. And like the soil and the grass along the water's edge, you are nourished and fed by your God. As the river of prosperity flows in and through you, it brings an abundance of every good thing to you. Your life is enriched as we pray our prayer for prosperity: God opens my mind and heart to abundance. How wonderful it is to know that this oasis, this quiet place is within us whenever we want peace . . . whenever we need guidance . . . whenever we seek healing . . . whenever we need supply. As we prepare for our day from this quiet place, we give thanks for the presence of God and all that it means to us. In Jesus Christ's name we pray . . . Amen.
