Reply - if you have a prayer need, Positive Christianity will start praying with you, daily, for an entire 2 months. There Is Never a Charge for Prayer. Jesus taught us correctly about prayer. He told us when we pray to go into our room and shut the door and pray to our God who is in secret. I invite you now to go into the innermost recesses of your being, the spiritual part of you. Turn your mind away from outer interests and center it on God. This is where you will find the seed of life. You enter this inner room of life within as definitely as you move from one room to another. But it is a spiritual movement of your mind rather than a movement of body. As Jesus Christ said, "As Thou, Father, art in Me and I in Thee." So now you are spiritually traveling in your faith. You are traveling in a conscious awareness of God. You are traveling with God. I invite you to sit in the silence of prayer as you journey into this secret place… Rest in the silence of prayer... You shut out all thoughts focused on ordinary worldly activities. You close the door to material thought. You close the door on worries and on fears. Now you concentrate on the Spiritual Ideal. If you are to learn anything about our Heavenly God, you must practice giving God your undivided attention. The reason that Jesus told us to shut the door is that we cannot think about God and a problem at the same time. God is the answer to any problem. But if we keep thinking about what is wrong, we cannot think about God who can make it right. So now as we shut our doors of outer awareness, we think only about God in the silence of prayer. . . Rest in the silence of prayer... Pray to your God who is in secret. In prayer, ask God to take over your life; God, the one Supreme Power. Give God a chance to move through you by recognizing and acknowledging God. We might pray, Dear God, "Heal me of this disease." If we pray that way, our minds are liable to be more concerned with the disease than the healing. But if we quiet our minds by entering into the inner mind and keep poised by returning again and again to the thought of God's Presence, we then can confidently affirm: THE HEALING LIFE OF GOD MOVES NOW THROUGH EVERY PART OF MY BEING. AND I REJOICE AND GIVE THANKS FOR PERFECT HEALTH. We are in the spiritual space. We have shut the door. And we are praying to our God in secret. Our God hears us in the secret place of the Most High. Dear God, many of us need guidance this day. We remember the promises that you gave us in the Bible: "I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go." Well, we come here this moment needing guidance. Thank You, God, for guiding my way and giving me the Divine ideas to direct me in my path. We are not concerned with troubles in the secret place of the Most High. But with Divine fulfillment, we're thinking of all the things that are right in God’s world, not all the things that need to be fixed. We are not thinking of God's ability or willingness to adjust them. We are just doing as Jesus Christ did, constantly identifying ourselves with what is true of God. We speak the word of health with such faith that healing takes place instantly. We know that we can think about God and have God literally be inside of every thought, every organ and every atom in our physical temple. In the Bible Jesus said, "Your Father will reward you." We know from an inner revelation that happens inside of us, that God does not withhold blessings from us. We sometimes shut ourselves off from God. "Thou openest Thy hand; Thou satisfieth the desire of every living thing." Rest in the silence of prayer... Thank You, God. The light, life and love of God are at work within me. I am peaceful, happy, healthy and successful. I give thanks for the profound revelation of God that I have received.
