You no longer see yourself as weak, lacking in ability, or subject to defeat. Through the inexhaustible resources of the presence of God with you, you overcome old patterns of thought and form new positive ones. Old ways of thinking cannot hold you back. You now release them, knowing that they have no power over you. You have outgrown the past. And you make a new start, beginning today, filled with fresh energy and courage and the will to go forward. Laying hold of the truth that God is mighty in the midst of you, that God and you working together can do all things, you open yourself to the inflow of harmony, strength, and God’s overcoming power. As you keep centered in the realization that you are a child of the all-powerful, all providing God, you feel successful and strong and filled with the spirit of faith and confidence. Trust God to supply the ideas for all your needs. You abide in the presence of God. Your life and the circumstances of your life are enriched through Divine ideas. You are empowered to take positive action on the ideas that come to you. You open yourself to enriching, prospering ideas. You thank God for God’s loving, unfailing, provision. We might ask, what will bring true enjoyment to my life for the rest of our life? One thing that increases your enjoyment of life is self-acceptance, the kind of acceptance that comes as you know yourself to be worthy and a beloved child of God. Another thing that brings true enjoyment of life is your emergence from self-centeredness into a feeling of oneness with others and a growing appreciation of their worth and goodness. You truly enjoy life as you keep a positive, constructive outlook, and despite appearances to the contrary, have faith in the power of God at work to bless and to make all things right. You enjoy life more and more each day as you open your mind to God’s inspiration, your heart to God’s love, as you look for and find some reason for rejoicing in even the ordinary events of the day. Everyone feels happier around those who are joyous and optimistic. We have all known such persons. You can be such a person. People will love being with you. In our Bible it says, “Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut.” This inspiring verse from the book of Revelation reminds you that nothing and no one keeps your good from you. Jesus said, “It is your father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” The truth Jesus taught and demonstrated blesses you, for it assures you that no one can withhold your good. The power to attract your good and the power to sustain your good is all God-given within you. God did not create a world of loss, lack, or limitation. God’s world is abundant and perpetually new. As you keep your faith centered in God’s truth, and as you know and live in the spiritual world of perfect ideas, negation has no power over you. You see the good in all persons in situations and you discover the bounty of God is omnipresent. POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER: I am the offspring of the living God. God's love casts out all fear. God breathes into my lungs the breath of God's life. This life flows freely through me, cleansing, nourishing, renewing, and restoring me. I am made whole in the name of Jesus Christ.
