Decide this year to be happy. You use your freedom of choice to choose to be happy and to share your happiness with others. You are endowed with free-will and created with freedom of choice. Your life can be whatever you choose it to be. This week, you choose to be happy! You choose to have a happy, positive, joyous, enthusiastic state of mind. You choose to smile often, to laugh more, to love, and be loving. You choose to allow the love of God to flow through you and out to everyone and everything around you. You choose to see the good of God in others, to love them as they are, not to judge nor try to change them. You choose to see the beauty all around you; you feel your oneness with order, and harmony in the universe. You choose to trust God, to align your will with God’s will, and to allow God to express through you as peace, and love. You choose this year to walk in the path of joy. As a spiritual person you do not need outer events to change, but, rather, you choose the way you react the outer events. Most people live from the outside in, allowing other events to determine how they feel inside of themselves. As a spiritual person you now live from the inside—out. You set the conditions of how you feel about the day before you even leave your bedroom. You choose happiness this year and you pray to God that you can have the touch of the Divine that will give you the extra sense of happiness and joy that you seek. You choose this year to keep your mind open to new ideas, to new revelations of God’s truth. As a positive spiritual person, you are not trapped by yesterday’s past; you are a new creature created in the joy and happiness of God. You choose to use your unlimited potential, to enjoy the aspects of your life that you now love, and reinvent the aspects of your life that you presently do not. You choose to enjoy abundant life. You use your freedom of choice to choose to be happy in every thought inside of your mind, and to let your happiness light shine out to others. God will show you what absolute happiness is, and this feeling is one that will remain with you. So, you make a commitment this year, because to be a source of joy and happiness for yourself, and others, requires more than just mere words; it takes action on your part. Sometimes your actions will speak even louder than your words. You will live your life happy in joyful appreciation of God’s glory manifesting in your life. Life may still present many mysteries, but you are secure in God. Rather than becoming anxious about what you do not know, or understand, you embrace every opportunity to learn with the joy of God’s Spirit working through you. This week you will be a source of happiness because you know God’s joy in your life. As it says in Galatians 5:25, “If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.” POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER: God's Happiness in Me Dear God, I pray for happiness. I pray that I have a cheerful heart. I pray that others are drawn to my happy smile, my positive attitude, and my face that shines with joy. Dear God, I know that you have created me and everyone else to be happy, to find joy and laughter in the different stages and experiences of life. I pray that I express You in my expression of joy. A cheerful heart is a continual feast. My outlook is positive, and I feel happy. My life is a banquet of uplifting experiences. I feel so good as I release the joy of God from within. I express God's eternal, loving presence within me. I pray, daily, that my cheerful heart up lifts me, and brings joy to everyone around me.
