James 2:18 An imagination is more than just an idle daydream, it is one of the most powerful tools you have from God to build your world. Positive imagination is a direct link to God's mind. A negative imagination is a direct link to worry. Pray for the power of positive imagination. Of all the workings of the mind, perhaps the most important is imagination. Some of us may feel that we lack a sufficient degree of imagination, because we have allowed our minds to grow lazy or become dull and flabby. Since the nature of imagination is to grow and expand and change, it is anything but static and can be developed into astonishing power, even from seeming nothingness. Thinking is a Divine gift; imagination is a phase of thought that makes thinking productive. As your leg muscles are strengthened by walking, so is your imagination by use. Use your imagination in strong positive ways; it is a powerful tool that can be used to build a strong awareness of your God-given abilities and the power of achievement. It might well be said that the imagination, of all the human’s mental qualities, is the one that associates them most closely with God. You can never receive anything in life that you can’t first picture in your mind. It is a universal law. So, imagine yourself to be whole, free, happy, successful, relaxed, healthy, and peaceful. Be bold and adventurous in your imagination. It is the only way to go. You will be working in accordance with your faith. The mental pictures imagined in your consciousness by your imagination are the blueprint of your future and the promise of your tomorrows. Imagination, the workforce of creativity, loves to serve you, loves to be exercised. Whatever faith perceives, imagination must first conceive. Be bold enough to sit back, relax, and let your imagination take over. Just as the prophets of old were guided through the faculty of imagination, so spiritually quickened souls, all down the ages, have been guided by this same God-given power. Many people only use this God-given power to imagine the worst. This can create a hell where a heaven exists. It is up to you to use your God-given gift in the proper positive way. The home of imagination is in the realm of ideas, where another dimension of mind is open to it, even the kingdom of the heavens. The imagining faculty gives a human the ability to project themselves into success and to rise above all limitations. Throughout history, there has never been a progress of humankind without expression of the imagination. The choice as to how you use this great power, and the direction you go, is yours. You can be sure that your imagination will take you to the highest good when your faith is securely anchored in God. The power of imagination is closely linked with faith and works. All the wonderful discoveries that have been made, and are blessing the people of the world today, were first ideas conceived in the imagination of someone's mind. Faith and works unite, enabling ideas to take form and to be shared with others. Imagination is a creative power and there are no limits to the heights that it can take you. Affirm aloud, today, in positive prayer: "Thank You, God, for my imagination and the faith to make my dreams come true." I pray that I am able to imagine solutions to my challenges. I pray that I am able to take my imagination and demonstrate and manifest it.
