 COMFORT OF GOD

August 23, 2019 www.PositiveChristianity.org for the 20th year presents Positive Daily Inspiration

Comfort of God

“For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand.” Isaiah 41:13

Reassurance and lasting comfort comes from one source – your source of life itself – God.

Often when we’re going through a difficult time, it is hard to focus on
God the instead of the problem. However, that is exactly what we must do.

God is the most comforting presence in your life.

When you think of the word comfort, different thoughts and memories may
come to mind for you. For some of you, it is the comforting presence of
loved ones; for others, comfort is derived from a sense of financial
security.

And yet, the source of all human comfort is the presence of God.

When your need is for something beyond people and things, you turn to God.
God is a continuous source of comfort that is always available to you.
Whether you need comfort after the loss of a loved one, strength of mind
during difficult times, or just the knowledge that you are truly cared for,
you can always rely on God’s strength and reassurance.

Throughout any situation, in good, and not so good times, God remains in
your source of comfort.

Sometimes our human lives can get so mixed up. Sometimes in human mind we
get so mixed up we don’t know where to turn next, or what to do.

Real comfort comes in organized order. God can bring Divine Comfort into our
lives and untangle the maze and the seemingly endless mess.

No matter what it is that you are searching for, you can align yourself
with God’s will of good for you by affirming these two simple words in
prayer: Divine Comfort!

When you pray for Divine Comfort, you are praying for more than just an
orderly flow of events; you are also praying for the lasting comfort that
only God can bring.

You are stepping out of chaos into faith. You are reaffirming your belief
that God will provide all that you need to live in an orderly, harmonious
way.

God’s comfort and Divine Order permeates every area of your life.
You will be one of the comfortable. Speaking to God in times of need
attunes you to the life of God, the comfort, power, and the full peace of God.
You will be able to feel these qualities, they will grow, to be easily expressed by you.

You are a changed person as you move, and think, through your daily
life, standing on the powerful foundation of God’s comfort, ease, and
tranquility.
