In the most difficult and challenging times we must realize that the tender and merciful love of God is with us and working for us. By turning to God for comfort we are given reassurance, and the added energy and guidance to get through any difficult circumstance in the best possible ways. God gives us courage and trust to live our lives triumphantly instead of retreating into a cocoon. The touch of God is a miraculous comforting experience. Especially when it seems that a door to our good has closed. There is a reassurance that comes to our mind that God has other great things in store for us. In faith we are able to walk forward knowing that God provides another door to new, undiscovered good. When we do not turn to God, we tend to stay locked in self-defeat. Our human self doesn't seem to have the power to overcome and try again. When we turn to God, we move past feelings of discouragement, and cross over the threshold to true Divine comfort, peace, and even joy. God's loving kindness is always waiting to comfort your mind, body, and emotions. "The LORD God goes before you and will be with you; God will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8 God's loving kindness provides complete soul healing, and restoration. God's will for you is abundant good, which God guides you to. This abundant good is expressed in infinite ways. When going through difficult times to know this, you are immediately comforted and uplifted. You will not be forsaken, and you will not be forgotten. The love of God is large enough to include you, and your future in its loving embrace.
