Luke 8:54 Jesus Christ was able to look past the appearance of disease and misdirection to the inner spiritual perfection of people. We MUST do the same with ourselves. To the lame man who was wanting someone to help him into the healing pool of water, Jesus said, "Rise, take up your pallet, and walk." The man was healed. To a father who was told that his daughter had died, Jesus said, "Do not fear; only believe, and she shall be well." Jesus went to the child, took her by the hand, and said, "Child, arise." She, too, was healed. Jesus Christ gives the same message of healing to us that He gave to others. As we rise to new heights of awareness of our own spiritual power and God-given perfection, we are expanding our own Jesus Christ awareness. Our belief in Jesus Christ and our belief in what He said was possible for us brings a pattern of perfection for healing in mind and body. The healing can happen in an instant or it can happen over a period of time. Your prayers, thoughts, conversations and actions are all part of your continuing health plan. Jesus taught that prayer is your constant, conscious connection with the life of God. God is always with you, and so, in prayer, you speak aloud or silently, claiming the health that is yours. You begin to think of health instead of sickness, and your thoughts are a continuation of your prayers. As you go about your day, you keep your thoughts filled with the same faith-filled, life-affirming words that you have used in prayer. Your words are audible signals of your inner conviction. Your conversation is about life and health for you and others! Say aloud in prayer, today: "In the nature of Jesus Christ, I decree in prayer – I am a thriving expression of the life of God. I have God-given health and vitality. I am empowered with a full power of God Almighty!" As you pray to God for healing and health – you receive it. As it says in our Bible, in Mark 11:24, "Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you HAVE received it, and it will be yours." Make this a day to believe in the healing life of God, and a day to prove that you can have God's healing in this moment, just as was true in biblical times.
