In prayer, we join with our prayer ministry. In prayer we join with those who are asking for prayer. We join people of all religions in a connection of prayer. We realize that "It is not I but the Christ within who does the work.” There is an old hymn that goes like this: “Sweep over my soul; Come, gracious Spirit, Sweep over my soul.” As we meditate upon the words of this beautiful hymn, we invite the Christ Spirit of love and peace to do its work in our minds and hearts. We feel the Christ presence within us now, and we relax. Ever so gently, this presence sweeps in love and peace as it sweeps out worry and fear. Rest in the silence of prayer... In this quiet, peaceful place of prayer, our distractions or concerns are swept away. Nothing can disturb us now, for we are one with the Christ presence of peace. THE CHRIST PRESENCE FILLS MY HEART WITH PEACE. God is the light upon our paths, the guidance within our hearts, the peace within our souls. In the silence, we feel the presence of God illuminating our thoughts and guiding us to take right action. In this peaceful awareness, we allow God to lead us. We pray for guidance, knowing that the ever-present Christ Spirit is our inspiration and Divine help. Rest in the silence of prayer... The decisions we face no longer trouble us, for the presence of God is our guiding light, gently sweeping in confidence and wisdom as it sweeps out indecision. Our decisions are Divinely inspired and for the highest good of all concerned, and so we are serene and calm as we make the choices we need to make freely and easily. We are attuned to the loving, inspiring direction of the Christ as we pray together. THE PRESENCE OF GOD DIRECTS ME TO MY GOOD. Accept that now, in the silence of prayer... Knowing that we are Divinely guided, we now pray for healing. We envision Divine life directing the atoms, cells, and organs of our bodies, enabling each one to function perfectly. We see our body temples as strong and vitally alive, filled with the healing, revitalizing life of the Christ. As we pray, we allow the spirit of life to sweep away every doubt or negative thought and to sweep in thoughts of energy, strength, and vitality. We gently move into a greater realization of the God gift of life, knowing that this life continually works in and through our minds and bodies. We are filled with vibrant energy and the strength to meet each day. We rest in the silence of prayer and feel the healing, soothing presence of Divine life as it gently flows throughout our body temples. THE PRESENCE OF GOD FLOWS THROUGH ME AS VIBRANT LIFE. Rest in the silence of prayer... We continue now on this spiritual journey. We pray for a greater realization of the abundance and bountiful good that are always available to us. We sweep out any thought of lack or limitation and sweep in wonderful feelings of peace and the knowledge that greater good awaits us. In an awareness of God, we are confident that good is now becoming evident. We recognize that we are capable, creative individuals, filled with prospering power. This power leads us to our highest good and provides for us in whatever way is needed. The presence of God is active through us as creative, useful ideas. These ideas flow freely and easily as we become attuned to the inspiration of the Christ. As we use these ideas, we demonstrate greater prosperity and success. Christ abides within us now, sweeping in grace, order, and prosperity. In this wonderful awareness, we rest in the silence of prayer... THE PRESENCE OF GOD FILLS ME WITH ENRICHING THOUGHTS. Your heart is overflowing with love. You are one with the Christ presence. The Christ sweeps over your soul. We give thanks for this loving Christ Spirit and for all our many blessings as we continue on this spiritual journey of life. In Jesus Christ's name . . . Amen.
