October 11, 2017 www.PositiveChristianity.org presents Positive Daily Inspiration IN-BETWEEN STAGE "Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while." Mark 6:31 I once did a lesson in the church called "Firmly in Midair." I talked about that unsure place that we all must move through. The trapeze artist must make a decision to move to the other trapeze. To move to the other trapeze, he must let go of the trapeze he is holding, sailing through mid-air to grab hold of the trapeze on the other side. When he has let go of the one trapeze, he has lost his visible support and is moving forward on faith, hoping that the other trapeze will show up at the right time. It is the only way to move forward. Have you ever felt as if you were at an in-between stage in your life? Maybe you ended one project or relationship, but were not ready to begin another. Yet at the same time, you felt as if you should be doing something. Your ability to let go of the past does not necessarily mean that you are ready for the next step. It could be that you are moving into a time of soul preparation, a time of rest and renewal that will give you the strength to move forward. If you feel guilty because you are not actively participating or moving ahead fast enough, give yourself permission to just "let it be" and enjoy this special time. You have to wait for the other trapeze to show up. When the new beginning comes – and I assure you that it will – you will be ready and prepared to succeed, beyond your wildest expectations. Do as Jesus has said: Go to a secluded place all by yourself and rest a while, in preparation for the fast movement that change requires. When you are in the in-between stage, do not berate yourself for not constantly moving; you are doing valuable soul work that is necessary and needed for your future success. People do not rest and renew enough. You must allow yourself this time, and give yourself permission to experience the touch of God through prayer and reflection. God's love is powerfully active in your life and it will set you free to be the best person you can possibly be. God loves you, unconditionally. God wants you to be a human "being," not just a human "doing." Many people only have self-worth when they are busy. Modern people often find it very uncomfortable to turn off the TV and radio and to sit in the quiet. But it is only in doing so that we discover our true spiritual being. You do not have to be busy in order to be lovable, because God loves you as the special creation that you are. This does not mean that you will not ever change, for change is inherent with freedom from the past. What I am saying is that God loves you at every stage of your growth, even in the times when you do not see anything happening. Humans, in today's society, are addicted to speed. Spirituality is found in stillness. God will bring new opportunities to you at the exact and precise time, when your soul is ready to grasp on to the God-given good. Through rest and renewal, you will feel free to express your full potential, and let the love of God shine in and through you, every day. You will be empowered by God to move into new experiences, fully expecting not only to grow but also to be blessed in the experience of growing. POSITIVE DAILY PRAYER: I take a moment to stop and turn the situation over to God. I surrender my own will and let God's will be done. It let Divine order take over and I recognize that God's will is being done. I place my trust in the One power in the universe, knowing that I am surrendering my will to the greater will of the good of God. I invite God to be an active participant in my life, I let God be God in my daily walk. I pray for a Divine plan to live a fulfilling life. In Jesus Christ name… Amen POSITIVE DAILY AFFIRMATION God, not my will, but Your will be done. POSITIVE DAILY QUOTE: "With a closed mind and heart, the light of God cannot enter." Reply - if you have a prayer need, Positive Christianity will pray with you daily, for an entire month. There Is Never a Charge for Prayer. GOD BLESS YOU, Make It a Great Day !_______Christopher Ian Chenoweth
