August 8, 2017 www.PositiveChristianity.org presents Positive Daily Inspiration TUESDAY PRAYER AND MEDITATION Philippians 4:6 – "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God." Let us pray: As we close our eyes, we imagine we hear the church bells ringing in the distance. The call, the bells are calling us to worship—not to go to a little white church with a white picket fence, but to a spiritual place in our consciousness. A pure radiant area inside of us reflecting the light of God shining God’s purifying power and joy. The light of God is shining in us as life and vitality, vim and vigor. The perfection of God is flowing through us, regenerating us into the new perfection of the Creators’ health. In this moment we allow God to take over. Dear God, move through us now. In the silence of prayer. . . Creation is re-creating in purity and power. Every day in every way we are empowered, and equipped, more vital; alive with the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is in you this moment. As you spiritually feel this secret place of the most high inside of you, you realize that you are on your way to true worship. . . God, in tremendous gratitude, with a thankful heart, I am here to praise and to give thanks for the countless blessings. There is a Divine impulse that is constantly moving in and through me. I am aware that there is a spiritual anointing that is being performed in my life. In the silence of prayer. . . I am here to say thank You God with every part of my human being. It is my purpose and my mission. Thank You, dear God, for all You have done in and through me. I pray that I become more aware. Thank You God for Your guidance; for guiding me when I didn't know the way, and for always giving so freely. Thank You for providing a tremendous direction to my life, and a redirection when I need it. Thank You God for healing that is not just temporal but eternal, for healing on every level of life—for healing of the mind, the body, the emotions and the Spirit. Thank You God for prosperity; for guiding and aiding in abundance. Thank You God for the gifts you have given me—my family and the many friendships and special people I have in my life now and in the past. No richer gift have I ever received. Thank You for the privilege we have to be aware of Your presence, dear God, and the even greater privilege to consent to Your presence and let it shine freely; to be a lighthouse to others in my world. Thank You God for the ability to realize that I am not alone, that there is something higher in life that I can't see with my eyes or hear with my ears. Thank You for the spiritual ability within me to know this. Rest in the silence of prayer. . . And thank You for the knowledge that we are one—not divided in any way, but together in this life process as a team. Thank You for reminding me continually that life does not have to be a struggle. Life is to be enjoyed. Life is to be lived. So, this moment in the silence of prayer, again I consent to the power and the authority and the almightiness of You, God. In the silence of prayer. . . For everything in our lives, we come to the altar of our own being—the meeting place between the human and the Divine. We lift up our thoughts in prayer and in complete gratitude.
